The Department of Environmental Science and Engineering (DESE) has been the leader in offering an Environmental Science program in Nepal, starting its undergraduate program in 1994. Through all these years, it has been significantly accumulating experience and resources to deliver quality education and perform quality research. Faculties with diverse academic backgrounds, the quest for leadership in providing the best environmental studies and continuously evolving teaching-learning and research processes are its major characteristics. The Ph. D. Environmental Engineering program has started in 2018.
Qualification for Application:
At least 17 years of education 10+2+3+2 in the relevant subject at various levels, with a minimum of first division or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 or above.
Clarification:
Once the necessary minimum qualification is obtained through programs run by the relevant department, an application for a Ph.D. can be made. If such programs are not available in the relevant department or are not available for an individual, the department may reject the application.
